Your team

Admins, members, adding and removing people, and privacy.

How people join

Two ways:

The first person from your business to open the connections page becomes an admin. Everyone after that joins as a member, unless an admin invites them as an admin.

Sign in anytime

You don't need to ask your OS for a link every time. On your connections page, under Sign in anytime, add your email. We send a confirmation link to that address; your email is saved only once you click it.

From then on, go to /portal/login, type your email, and click the sign-in link we send. The link works once, for 15 minutes. You stay signed in for 30 days from the last time you used the page, on that browser. Sign out ends it.

People

The People section lists everyone who uses your OS: their name, where they talk to it (Slack, Telegram and so on), when they were last active, how many conversations they have had, and how many private apps they have. It is a number only: nobody sees which apps.

It also shows whether each person can open this page. Admins can act right there:

Members see the list but not these buttons.

To change someone's role, open your connections page, find them under Team, and press Make admin or Make member. Your team always keeps at least one admin.

Removing someone

Press Remove next to them under Team. Straight away:

Apps they shared with the whole team keep working. You cannot remove yourself; ask another admin.

Privacy

Apps under Only you are private to you. Teammates never see them: they do not appear on anyone else's page, and nobody else's OS can see or use them. Your account administrators can see that they're connected (the app and the account name), never what's in them. If a teammate asks their OS to use your private Gmail, it tells them to connect their own.

When your provider opens your page to help or to manage your apps, they can't open or use your private apps. Like an administrator, they can only see that one is connected.

One person, several chat apps

If you talk to your OS in more than one place (for example Slack and Telegram), link them so your private apps follow you. Say link my Telegram where you already use your OS. It gives you a six-digit code; send that code to your OS on the other app within 15 minutes.
