Key apps, step by step
Exact steps for the apps most businesses and agencies connect first.
GoHighLevel
Say: connect my GoHighLevel (also GHL, HighLevel, go high level).
GoHighLevel connects with a key, not a sign-in button. The form asks for two things, and both are required. A token without its Location ID cannot reach your sub-account.
1. Private Integration Token
- Open GoHighLevel and make sure you are in the right sub-account.
- Go to Settings, then Private Integrations.
- Click Create new integration and give it any name.
- Tick the permissions you want it to have, then create it.
- Copy the token shown and paste it into the form. It is only shown once.
It starts with pit-.
2. Location ID
- In GoHighLevel, go to Settings, then Business Profile.
- Find the Location ID near the top of that page.
- Copy it and paste it into the form.
Both are checked together before saving: the token must be able to read contacts in that Location. If they come from different sub-accounts you will see "That Location ID was not found for this token."
Several sub-accounts (common for agencies): connect each one the same way, with its own token and Location ID. Each appears as GoHighLevel · <Location ID>, and your OS asks which one when it needs to.
RizzDial
Say: connect my RizzDial (also Rizz Dial).
- Your OS sends a link. Open it.
- Sign in to RizzDial on its own page and approve access.
- Done. RizzDial is shared with your whole team.
On your connections page RizzDial shows as Not tested with a Reconnect button and no Test button. That is normal. To check it, ask your OS for something from RizzDial, such as today's call stats. If your OS says RizzDial is not connected, say reconnect my RizzDial.
Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram ads)
Say: connect my Meta ads (also Facebook ads, FB ads, Instagram ads).
- Open the link your OS sends. It works for 30 minutes.
- Press Continue with Facebook.
- On Facebook, log in as the person who manages the ads, choose the businesses, ad accounts and pages to share, and approve.
- The page tells you how many ad accounts are available. Close it and go back to your OS.
This lets your OS read and manage your ad accounts, campaigns and leads. You can remove the access on Facebook at any time. Meta Ads is shared with your whole team by default.
Reconnecting: a Facebook sign-in lasts about 60 days. When it lapses, the app shows Broken and your OS tells you Meta refused the sign-in. Say connect my Meta ads and continue with Facebook again.
Expiry warning. The connection shows its expiry date, and turns Needs reconnect 7 days before it runs out, so your OS warns you before the ads data stops.
Agencies and Business Manager. Ad accounts your Business portfolio owns, and client ad accounts shared with it, are all picked up, not just accounts assigned to you personally. If an ad account is missing, give the connected Facebook user access to it in Meta Business Settings, then reconnect.
System user token (never expires). Agencies who prefer not to reconnect every 60 days can use a system user token instead. In Meta Business Settings, create a system user, give it access to your ad accounts, and generate a token for it with ads permissions and no expiry. Then say connect Meta ads with a system user token and paste it into the form. It is checked with Meta before it is saved.
Google Ads
Say: connect my Google Ads (also AdWords).
- Open the link your OS sends. It works for 30 minutes.
- Press Continue to Google Ads.
- Sign in with the Google user that has access to your Google Ads accounts, and approve.
- The page confirms the connection. It shows the account number, or how many ads accounts were found.
If you see "no Google Ads accounts were found on that Google login", you signed in with a Google user that has no Google Ads access. Ask again and pick the right Google account.
Agencies with a manager account (MCC). Sign in with the Google user that has access to your manager account. Every client account under the manager is recorded (up to 2,000), and your OS reaches each client account through the manager automatically. You do not need to connect each client separately.
If your OS says Google Ads access is still test-only, real ad accounts are refused until Google approves our access. There is nothing to fix on your side.
CRMs
Say connect my <CRM name>. Your OS sends a link that either opens the CRM's own sign-in or shows a key form with steps. CRMs are shared with your whole team by default.
| CRM | What to say | What you will do |
|---|---|---|
| HubSpot | connect my HubSpot | Sign in to HubSpot and approve. |
| Salesforce | connect my Salesforce | Your OS first asks for your Salesforce web address. Copy it from your browser bar while in Salesforce (for example acme.my.salesforce.com). Then sign in and approve. |
| Pipedrive | connect my Pipedrive | Sign in to Pipedrive and approve. |
| Close | connect my Close | Paste an API key: in Close, Settings, then Developer, then API Keys, then New API Key. It starts with api_ and is checked before saving. |
| Zoho CRM | connect my Zoho | Sign in to Zoho and approve. |
| ActiveCampaign | connect ActiveCampaign | Sign in to ActiveCampaign and approve. |
| monday.com | connect my monday | Follow the link: sign in, or paste the key it asks for. |
| Keap | connect my Keap | Follow the link: sign in, or paste the key it asks for. |
| Salesmate | connect Salesmate | Paste your Session Key (profile icon, then My Account, then Access Key) and your workspace address, for example yourcompany.salesmate.io. |
Follow Up Boss: say connect Follow Up Boss (or FUB). Salesforce: just your company name, such as acme, is enough for the web address. Keap also answers to Infusionsoft.
If a CRM's sign-in cannot start, you get a simple form asking for that CRM's API key, with steps, instead of the general form.
Any other CRM
Say its name. If it has a sign-in you get a button. If it uses keys you get a form. If we have never heard of it, you get the general form: paste an API key, an MCP endpoint, a webhook, or a short note on how it signs in. Then see Apps we don't know yet.
